TAC: Sponsorship activation

To showcase TAC’s continuing partnership with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, we wanted to find a cut-through creative solution that would appeal to Festival-goers and highlight the crucial issue of phone distractions and pedestrian safety (over 700,000 people visit the CBD during the Festival).

The result? A unique walking comedy show with comic Sam Simmons who brought the serious issue to life in his unique way, hosting 40 competition winners over two shows during the Festival. Totally focused (and phone-free), show-goers walked the streets, enjoying Simmons’ hilarious commentary on a whole range of topics plus a few encounters with well-known comedians along the way.

Pre and post content was created and shared across all social channels and amplified by MICF.
